At present, the global shipping market is in a turbulent downturn, and a stable ship-cargo relationship is the cornerstone of the healthy development of industrial and supply chains. To promote the building of a community with a shared future for shipowners and cargo owners, at the opening ceremony of this expo, China Shipowners' Association, China Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Enterprise Association and China Shipping Gazette, together with some cargo owner enterprises and major port and shipping logistics enterprises, jointly released the Initiative on Integrity and Collaboration between Shipowners and Cargo Owners.
The main contents of the Initiative on Integrity and Collaboration between Shipowners and Cargo Owners include: it is proposed and encouraged that all parties of shipowners and cargo owners sign operable long-term agreements; it is proposed that shipowner enterprises improve service quality; it is proposed that cargo owners deepen their understanding of the shipping industry and support the digital and low-carbon development of shipping; it is proposed that all parties explore freight rate stabilization mechanisms to help form an "open, fair and just" price system; it is proposed that the annual long-term contract signing quarter be determined in line with China's national conditions.

On November 20, the Roundtable for Chairmen of China Listed Logistics Companies was held. On November 21, events including the 10th Annual Meeting of the China Top 50 Shipping Elites Forum, the "Tribute to 30 Years" — Gala Dinner for the 30th Anniversary of China Shipping Gazette, the First Advanced Training Course on International Trade and Supply Chain Logistics, the 2023 PV Industry Supply Chain Logistics Forum, and the Heavy Industry and Construction Machinery Logistics Forum were also held.
