Project Content: Guided by the concept and development context of free trade ports, drawing on successful development practices of world-renowned free trade ports, especially the energy and financial centers of New York and Singapore, and combining Huizhou’s industrial reality and geographical location advantages, the project defines the strategic positioning of Huizhou in building an energy and financial free trade port. It conducts an in-depth analysis of four possible development models for Huizhou’s energy and financial free trade port: government-led, central enterprise-led, platform innovation-driven, and Hong Kong enclave-style. Targeted suggestions are put forward in terms of development operators, institutional mechanisms, operation platforms and product innovation.
